how to test for a good oc?

what programs do i test my pc with to tell if i get a good stable oc? I've only heard some short bursts of info on Prime95? and some memory test... its a new pc that im building today and i want to oc it and i need to test it to "the max" - i want to test just about everything on it.

Prime95 is the best for stress testing a CPU.

somtimes you need to do more then just prime95 to test for stability.. run prime95 while you do your usual cad thing

The rule is there is not one program that will reliably test for stability. I've seen systems that pass prime95 but are definitely unstable.

You also cannot test for stability in one day. You need to run it for weeks to get a feel of the true stability of a system.

As they say if it ain't stable it ain't an overclock.
