Good morning,

I have a Samsung LCD and to me the colors look a little too rich. Is there any way that we can tell whether or not a monitor is wide gamut or not? The manual states nothing of the sort, so I can only go off my eyes on this one. Because of the richness in color, I'm guessing that it is.

Serial number?

Odds are of it advertises 1 billion+ colors it is wide gamut. OTOH there are panels that are capable of over sRGB that can be set to just sRGB

You could try measuring the primaries with your DTP-94 and comparing the chromaticities with sRGB. Won't be a super accurate reading because it's an LCD, but might give you a ballpark.
