How to ship out items?

I'm planning on selling a few things online and was wondering how you people ship your stuff out. There's so many different ways to do these kind of things and i'm kinda confused. One thing, if I were to ship something out USPS: do I have to use my own box and pack my stuff in there, then take it to the post office? or can i just take my item, and will usps be able to package/box the item for me?

USPS has a few boxes and stuff at the post office, but they are usually expensive and you still have to do it yourself. If you want to just take your item in and have them box it up and stuff then you should take it in to somewhere like Mailboxes, etc. or someplace where they specialize in shipping stuff. Then they take it and ship it via ups or fedex or whatever. I usually just box up my own stuff. Sometimes it can be hard to find packing material like foam peanuts or bubblewrap, so you might have to actually buy some of that. If you dumpster dive then you should have no problem finding packing materials.

i always thought the boxes were free? cuz i kno u can get a whole package of boxes shipped to ur house for free, i dont know about at the actual post office...

Shipping supplies are free, it's a federal crime to use them for anything else, don't abuse the service.

On the left panel, select Shipping Supplies, then Personal or Business.
