how to remove LG775 processor?

i had bought this asrock combo board (asus oem board) but the board is death after i used it for 15minutes. Now i wanna replace another board. I don't know how to remove the processor. I think it should be almost the same for the other LG775 socket's processor. So hope can get some answers here.

When i refer to the manual. it teach how to fix the processor and HSF to the motherboard. It is to turn 4 something like a screw in the clock wise direction and then press down to lock it.

So i suppose to open is pull it up and turn it anti close wise. It didn't work. Izzit i didnt pull it hard enough? Also how to turn the thing anti clock wise? barely by hand? or suppose that i should use somekind of screw driver to open it? The 4 point is not really a screw but sound like one to me. I hope you guys are not confused. thanks.
 
I found the new Intel heatsinks to be a pain in the a$$

Basically turn each knob counter-clockwise and pull slightly as doing so, the clip should release

- how to turn the knob? just by bear hand? or need to use some kind of tools. Coz i found the knob quite tight. Can use screw driver?
 
if your heatsink is the same as Intel reference one I had it didnt take much force to turn those four knobs
