Hey folks,
I ended up posting something similar to this in another [H] forum/thread (http://www.hardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1463988). Sorry for the double posting.
Either way, all I really want to do is retrieve the hardware specs of a client's computer by possibly going through a web portal, or by downloading a client-side program to send this information to the web site.
So, instead of me asking the end-user to click on Start -> Run -> and type either "dxdiag" or "msinfo32", I can just have them launch this button so I can get the information.
If you know of any canned solutions for this, let me know. Please give some information on your experience with them too, if you can.
EDIT: These "end users" will not be affiliated with me AT ALL. They will NOT be part of my domain.
