How to recover Linux, Formatted C ... extreme stupidity.

My windows was causing lot of trouble to me so i decided to fresh install of the windows... and when the windows XP setip asked me wot to do with the partition i selected complete format. and in my stupidity i forgot that i have Linux SuSE on another drive...
as i m a novice in Linux i don;t know wot to do now.? i have Windows in C drive. D for windows programs and Linux in rest of the partition... but my boot option doesn;t show me any option.. it just loads window...

You're going to have to reinstall the bootloader, were you using grub or LILO?

Reinstalling LILO is usually a matter of running /etc/lilo/install.

Of course you need to boot from a linux cd or rescue cd.

For grub, /sbin/grub-install /dev/hda (example) should do it.
