i want to protect the programs which i burn on CD such that it should be available only as read-only or run-only form and they should-not be saved... is there any way i can do this.?
Thanks

Short answer: No.

Long answer: Not really. Anything you can come up with can and will be gotten around.

Of course, there's the music industry method, and it works pretty well too: Put crap on the CD that nobody wants. ;)

This is unfortunately something the software industry and music industry have been trying to do for years and despite investing millions (if not billions) in it, they have failed every single time. And they will probably never succeed. Why? If the media can be read, then it WILL be copied. You may be able to make it harder, but you can never prevent it.

If you don't want someone copying your data, then don't make it available in the first place. That is the ONLY form of copy protection that actually works.
