How to protect LCD screens?

I just recently bought a Dell Inspiron E1505. I want to protect my 15.4" lcd screen from getting fingerprints, dust, etc on it. Basically, I want to try to keep it in as mint condition as possible. All I have so far is a laptop carrying bag. I was wondering if anybody had some good precautionary methods they'd like to share. I saw someone who used a plastic sheet to cover his LCD; prolly held up with tape. I mite just go with that idea if there's no other option.

I would also like to get a laptop stationary cooler. I'm interested in something like the Vantec Lapcool 4. It has an optional tilt, usb expansion, usb powered, and storage. I like the optional tilt. Any other suggestions for a cooler would be nice too.

Other than not letting retards who like to point at things by touching the screen use your lappie...just keep it closed when not in use and get a microfiber cloth to clean it occasionally.
