I want to pin D:\Downloads (2nd harddrive) folders which contains all my movies to the taskbar (superbar) in windows 7. However, whenever I try to do this it keeps pinning the library folder. Is there a way around this?

The pin menu is supposed to launch applications, not documents. Documents/Folders can be accessed through the Jump List. Right-Click on the Exporer Icon or drag it up. You can pin your Downloads folder to that list.

Just drag the folder onto your taskbar, it will be added Explorer's jumplist
