How to paint case with unremovable window

My case has a window that is epoxy'd to the panel, i want to paint the panel, but not the window.

Will masking tape do the job for covering it up from the harmful paints or something else recommended. I have the option of painting it before i put the window on though, if its a real hassle to cover.
