I am in the process of re-painting an xbox into a Pink Floyd 'The Wall' Theme, and have been trying to find a way to get a good result on painting a brick pattern. I thought about stencils, but that won't work because of the curves on the xbox (will have to gradually bend the lines to make it look right from front to back). What I would really want is some super-thin masking tape, and I know I have seen it, but CANNOT find anything online or around town. I am talking about 1/16" wide masking tape.
Otherwise, is ther another way I can get this pattern?
My plans are/where to paint the case black, then tape off my lines, and the edges (see the photoshop below) and then paint it with multiple layers of white, pull the masking off and be done with it. The "Screamer" in the pictures below will be a window mod printed on transparency films. I have already started with creating the artwork in photoshop, i'm just needing a way to do the brick pattern.
