How to make a ramdisk?

Hi, I have 6.1gb of ram with about 3.5 always free, how can I make a ramdisk to run small programs/games from ?

I'm running a Core i7, 4.2ghz with 1600mhz ram, vista home prem x64.
 
Thank you very much bitsu & westrock. I have asked this question several times over the last year with no response. I know Joe Average always brags about his ramdisk abilities, but for whatever reason, refuses to help with its configuration. Thanks again.

Yup. Set mine up & it's awesome. Will I need to do anything to speed up my games loading times or does the temp directory handle that?
