How to installing mounting bracket?

the antec 620 uses the same bracket corsair uses, but its hard to install. I did it after a lot of struggle, now im gonna have to redo it again and this time I want to do it right. I did screw in the screws so the bracket can latch into the holes slightly, for some reason that didnt work for me. Is that how its done?
