how to install vista beta on a RAID array

well bad new here... after not being able to get vista installed on my RAID array I decided to break appart my array because I need more hdd space in my HTPC and I don't have the $ for a new hdd right now... so I figured I could kinda kill 2 birds w/ one stone so to speak.

however... no dice! even on a single hdd vista can't find my hard drives

Hmmm...I remember being flamed severely for recommending you break apart your array, but it's not worth discussing anymore. I love being flamed for giving a good answer! Yay!

Anyhoo, since you broke the array, did you change the settings in the BIOS from RAID functionality to standard (terms vary based on BIOS brand)? I don't remember what mobo chipset you have, but most of them shouldn't need any drivers loaded in "standard" mode.
