I've never installed a SATA hard disk in my entire life ehh and I'm confused.
I got a HP a420n Desktop , the motherboard is a A7V8X-LA KM400 chipset if I recall correctly. On the motherboard there's a chip with VT8237 VIA written on it and another with VT6307

Where do I get the damn SATA drivers? I know you gotta press F6 at the setup screen to load the Sata Driver but I have no idea wich or where to get'em.

Thanks for your help. It would be greatly appreciated.

Im not sure if this is the correct way or what, but I just right clicked on My Computer and went to Manage > Disk Manage and enabled it through there.

Put in the drive floppy that came with the motherboard, or create one with downloaded files from the motherboard manufacturer. You will need to load them from there.
