How to increase the refresh rate

Hi I need a way or program that will increase the refresh the monitor this is not for my Pc but for the uni systems that have been cut down and limited so much that you cant sneeze in front of them, and the refresh rate is set to 60Hz and is making my eyes go funny and giving me head aches so I need a way to increase it.....

Go and tell the technical staff that you have medical problems using their computers because you have bionic eyes that can detect 60 refresh cycles a second and demand that they adjust the equipment for you.

Once they've finished laughing, if you're serious enough, they may just help you. If it's their policy to not change things like refresh rates, it'd be better to find out by asking than by tryng to change it yourself.

If it's the educational institutes equipment and not yours, then you've no right to fiddle without permission
