I have a dilema here. I have a case with 2 HDD back planes, so I need to ensure air is forced to be sucked through them to keep the drives cool. To do that I put plastic tape on all vents. Technically that's how it should be anyway being a rack mount case. I have two powerful fans on the back. Problem is, I'm starving the CPU and the PSU from getting air, or at least, I assume I am.

What would be the best way to deal with this issue?




I'm thinking I'd need to somehow build a duct to go from the cpu to one of those fans, but not really sure how I'd do that.

Or do I not need to worry? These are the temps: (they seem to be stable there with a load average of 4.45).
