I have a stick of memory that I am trying to identify. I need to find out how much memory it is, and the speed. Is there somewhere in Windows I can find this, or by looking at the memory is there a way to tell? Thanks. BTW, there are no labels on it.

there ususally is a label on the memory, but cpu-z is pretty good at identifying memory too most of the time.

Three things come to mind....

Like orvil01 said, CPU-Z is a good one, and so are the HOda utilities. Also, you can find utility software out there that will read the SPD information on the RAM and display it....as long as the RAM has a valid SPD field, that is. Google will find any of those software applications, pronto.

Good Luck - B.B.S.
