Today i received my replacement 2709w (the guy on ebay swapped it for one without a line on it), it worked fine for about half an hour and when i came back to it low and behold a bright red pixel shows up smack bang in the middle of the screen.
i tried UDPixel with no luck and was really pissed, after thinking maybe i could live with it through frustration I flicked it and it disappeared and it's not come back. Maybe I scared it off
Seems like the age old trick of "tap it to fix it" still works
