Hello.My system is win8.1.

My raid controller model is 9260cv. Hard drive model is ph3400u. Before I bought the

drives, I had checked that the drive support cctl but it is disabled in default.

I first insert the drive into the raid controller. Then I try to ran the smartctrl.

However, I cannot find the drives behind the raid controller.
Then I run the following command:

smartctl -d csmi -r ioctl,2 --scan

\\.\Scsi0:: successfully opened
IOCTL_SCSI_MINIPORT(CC_CSMI_1) failed, Error=1117
\\.\Scsi1:: successfully opened
IOCTL_SCSI_MINIPORT(CC_CSMI_1) failed, Error=1117
\\.\Scsi2:: successfully opened
IOCTL_SCSI_MINIPORT(CC_CSMI_1) failed, Error=1117
\\.\Scsi3:: successfully opened
IOCTL_SCSI_MINIPORT(CC_CSMI_1) failed, Error=1117
\\.\Scsi4:: successfully opened
IOCTL_SCSI_MINIPORT(CC_CSMI_1) failed, Error=1117

So, it showed that the driver does not support csmi?
Then I cannot use the smartctrl to enable cctl for the drives?

Then I try to directly connect the drive to my motherboard and the the smartctrl.
smartctl -l scterc,80,80 /dev/sdf
After running the above command, I suscessfully enable the cctl. However, after the power cycle, it becomes disabled again.

Is there any other tool that I can enable the cctl for the raid?
Is it the only way for me is to return the drives?

Thank you very much.
