how to do sli with evga motherboard HELP

the manual doesnt say how to make it work, or i am just having a problem. i put my 7800 gt's in the 1st and 3rd pci-e slots for sli, but when i get past the windows loading screen it goes blank... need help fast! thanks.

I have tried all dvi connectors and stuff, and btw, its a bfg 7800 gt and an evga 7800 gt. i've heard you can mix them now so i got a driver update. do i need to do anything else?
 
only 1 of the vid connectors will work using sli. it varies from board to board, so check them all. make sure that you have power connrcted to both cards. if your bios has an option for sli (mine does not) make sure its enabled.
 
i have a power connector thing from the power supply straight into the cards. when i have both of them in the sli led comes on, but it doesnt work. the bridge is also attached. any more ideas?
 
ok....i just switched the sli bridge around and it worked???? wtf???!??!!?!??! it shouldnt have made a difference... but it did?.....gaming is awesome now
