im currently not using SATA so is there a way tat i can diable it so when i boot up my comp it wont say "device not found!" "bios is not installed" ?
 
what motherboard are you using? I know with my nf7-s I can disable it deep within the bios under pci devices I think.
 
I have the same problem on my MSI K7N2G-ILSR. I could not find a way to completely kill the SATA controller. I suppose you could take a little screwdriver and pry the controller chip off the board.;)

In BIOS, you might be able to find the settings for onchip SATA controllers and such.

I'm not familiar with the Asus P4C800, but in my Abit IC7-G, there are two settings I disabled for the SATA controller.
 
i cant find a place to disable sata but i can only disable raid by disabling the promise controller
