how to custom vent case windows

i have an apevia qpack 2, but i noticed it gets hot on the gpu side. i have the clear window version.

i was wondering if anyone had any tips or knows a shop that can cut vents into the case like the thermaltake lanbox windows.

Nevermind on the hole saw... I was picturing a hole with a grill over it, not a grill built into the window

it may be my only option. get a clean looking grill from the site magoo referred me to and use a holesaw and black rivets to make it look clean.

unless the guy from new yankee workshop can cut some holes like that on my window for me. i'm sure he has the tools.

Well.. whatever you do, don't use a spade bit. I did that for a wood (non-PC) project recently... the resulting hole looked like it was made by a rat on crack

Lesson learned: avoid spade bits on anything thinner than about a quarter-inch.

lol, ive seen what rats on crack can do.. its not pretty. dont ask

low speed drill bit, and a good guide to run down so your cuts stay even, then a bit of sanding to smooth out the plexi nice and clean

I did a window vent mod with my dremel on low speed and kept dipping the drill bit in ice water. Pic is below.
