How to cool my case better

Hey guys, my temps are pretty good, cpu runs 32ish idle, 38 load max. But my vid card runs high 40s idle and can get all the way up to maybe 85ish. For reference I have an x800xl(made by ati). I can't post pics yet since but I'll try to on Sunday night or Monday when I get back to school(on that note what's a free webhost I can use for the pics?).

Anyway, here's the case I'm using: CoolerMaster Cavalier 3

I believe the 80mm fan is right by the hard drives(it isn't really pulling in air since there's no opening to the outside of the case there). I'm not even sure which way it's blowing, I'm guessing towards the drives. The 120 is in the back of the case and blowing air out. Anything I can do to increase airflow/cooling?(Replacing fans maybe? A PCI slot cooler aimed at the vid card?)

Have you thought getting an aftermarket VGA cooler?
AC ATI Silencer
It dispels the hot air outside your case.

As for your case, your side panel has rooms for 2 80mm fans. You can mount 2 fans there but deal with more noise or get a fan controller. Another option is that if your handy with a dremel, you can cut a blowhole at the top of your case.

well temps seem to be ok except for your vid card under load. First thing to do would be to pick up either a Zalman VF700 or the AC ati silencer like batmanwcm said. The good thing about the ATi silencer 5 is that it expels warm air outta the case.

Cheapest i found the Vf-700cu is here at Xoxide: linky

Cheapest i found AC Ati Silencer 5 rev 2 is here at PTS: Linky

Both appear to be 27 bucks, so the choice is yours

the top area has holes for a 80mm fan, but the bottom one doesn't. You could prolly just screw them in through the slots if you got an electric drill layin around.

I built a very similar system for a friend (my old rig). Cav 3 case, nf3 mobo, x800xl, xp90 heatsink, etc etc. I replaced the 80mm front fan with a 92mm, and cut out the metal grill that it attaches to. Helps a bit, but the best thing you can do is get an artic silencer. I have one on the x800xl in that system and it drops load temps TREMENDOUSLY. Very quiet also.
