How to clean "browning?"

i got a nice system,but some of the stuff like the Floppy Drive,the HD Fan Grill and Cd-rom Drives are turning that brown,dirty beige color.

what should i use to clean them?
 
409 works good. As well as alcohol, acetone (careful with plastic...), etc.

but...you could always scrub well with alcohol...then apply some vinyl dye and change the color to something more exciting than the ol' beige :)
 
i tested a incon. spot with some fantisk,didn't really see a differance.i'll look around for some 409.

you mean plastic dye right?
 
platic dye, vinyl dye, or that new krylon fusion works very well on plastic. I must say I was very impressed by some krylon fusion that I recently used to paint the fron bezel of my firewall/router linux box.
 
i was reading the can of that fusion paint.seems pretty easier then sanding.i'll think about painting the front piece.
 
if you use the fusion, make sure you clean that plastic VERY good. I cleaned mine with 90% alcohol, then lightly sanded, and cleaned with the alcohol a couple more times before painting. I used about 3-4 light coats of black fusion paint. Let it sit for about 24 hours before messing with it.

After about a week, the paint was set very well, not sticky, and was hard to scratch...almost like the plastic came that color. It works quite well on metal too.
