So I had a leak a few week back and fixed it but didn't think it went anywhere but on top of my block. Today I took out the CPU so that I could test another and found that there is water and corrosion all over the socket and bottom of the CPU.:( Any suggestions on how to go about cleaning the socket? The CPU im going to clean with alcohol.
The computer has been running fine though for at least a few weeks.
TIA

Well toothpick and a little alcohol let me get most of it. There is still some dried water wetter that doesn't look like it will ever come off.

You could try giving more alcohol rinses to dissolve it; but if the system si working I wouldn't worry too much.
