Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
doubtful. run google to check for dark dead pixels, run any game or even this website to check for light dead pixels. or you could open up paint and just flood it with whatever color you need to check for and sweep it around the screen. after about 3 weeks of ownership, i found 1 dead pixel on my 2005fpw.
I haven't heard of any programs, but you can set your desktop background to black, auto hide your task bar and scrupulously check it out. After that, set the background to white and check that out, too.
Anyone know why www.monitorsdirect.com is down? They have (had?) a calibration prog that fills your screen with the colors necessary to check, as well as a couple other tests (ghosting, color, etc).
