How to attach temperature sensor?

I have a D-Tek Fuzion that I will be installing on a Q6600. I also have a Koolance RP-1000, which comes with 3 temperature sensors. One of the temp sensors will shut down the system if a temperature goes too high. I figure that I should install that one.

How do I "permanently" mount the temp sensor on my D-Tek Fuzion? I thought I saw copper tape mentioned somewhere, but it seems like that may short out the sensor.

Thanks, JC634 - That looks like a viable option, and I may go that route. However, I'm not sure right now if I want a truly permanent attachment.

I was looking for something that would not come loose, but could be removed if I change CPU blocks in the future.

Are there other options?
 
I'm not sure what your sensors look like, but on mine a quick twist with a pair of needle nose pliers takes them right off w/o damage to anything.
 
I'd just use a tiny bit of aluminum tape to mount the thing on the LGA775 retention bracket.

I use aluminum tape as well to mount NTC sensors. The NTC sensors have plastic over them, but they are easily crushed so don't press to hard on them.
 
they are all the same kind a sensor (a flat one with a plastic over shield), they just hook up to different ports on the control pod.
 
Thanks for the help, guys ... Based on JC634's advice, I purchased some Arctic Alumina Thermal Adhesive yesterday. I figure that if I can't remove the probe from my D-Tek Fuzion later on, I'll just use one of the other two "spare" probes (the RP-1000 came with 3 probes) on a future water block.
