How to archive(save) a multi page thread?

I remember you used to be able to save an entire thread (as a web page) by add something to thread url like .....&ppp=2000 (meaning show 2000 posts per page, ergo, the whole thread in one long assed page) - i was able to do that on SpecialK's huge BG Micro VFD thread, but it stopped working many months ago in v2.....and here we are on v3.....long story short, can we archive an entire multi-page thread in one step (save as--> web page) or do we have to do that for each page? some large threads are worth saving, esp if there's a chance of them going bye bye such as what happened to a few with the v2--->v3 ypgrade...
