How to access Firefox profile manager?

Google is telling me -p and -P and even -profilemanager. All of those just open FF and not the profile manager.

I want to make a profile that has different proxy settings so I can access some of my home stuff from work, without changing the global proxy setting. How would I do this? The proxy is for security reasons (stuff I don't want to open to the outside, so I use a proxy through SSH tunnel).
 
What version of Firefox are you running? All three options that you listed work fine to bring up the profile manager for me.
 
Using 12. I managed to find an extension that lets me do it through the browser so that will probably do, though the flag would be nice so I can make different shortcuts.
 
I'm on 19, but I remember using the -profilemanager flag specifically as a shortcut for a very long time with previous versions. Dunno why it's not working for you.
 
I do the same, but I just use a proxy switcher addon, currently using "Elite Proxy Switcher" but I've used foxy proxy in the past.
 
Make sure Firefox is closed, and that there aren't any running firefox.exe processes that shouldn't be. If FF is already running it just brings up a new window.
 
Oh, that would do it then. I was trying to have two FF sessions opened, one with default profile and one with the other. So I'll stick to the extension then.

Speaking of FF sessions, sorta different topic but given it's FF related, in Linux I have two separate X sessions that run as it's the only way to get 3 monitors going with my setup. How can I get FF to open in both sessions? I get a message that an instance is already running and it wont let me open another. Is there a way around that?
