I dropped my Silverstone SST-50EF and wondered if it's alright. I can't test it til the rest of my computer arrives.

It dropped about 15 inches from top of my case to bottom (case is empty) and landed on the side with the switch and plug. No visible damage and switch still works.

Think it will be good to go?

From what i have seen of them on the inside even cheap ones are pretty durable, lots of solder and a thick pcb, they are not very good electrically though.

I have done much worse...and if the unit ever traveled UPS it experienced much worse ;)

It came by Fed Ex and in a box full of peanuts.

Sounds like i don't have to worry.

Good to know :)

It should be ok, most psu's have any of the components that could be shifted by something such as that glued down, I think your psu is just fine unless it fell from the top of your house or something haha.
