How small is the 350d?

Hi I currently own a corsair 600T case but since I'm going to college I'm looking to down scale my PC. I am looking into purchasing an mATX motherboard to fit a smaller case, and I really like the 350d. But is the 350d actually that small at all? What do you guys think?
 
Your Seasonic should fit I would think. I don't think that's an overly long PSU, which it would have to be. The HX650 fit just fine in the Temijin for me. It's a great case, the only smaller case would be the newer SG09/10, but you lose the multiple HDD capability. This goes for wanting full heigh cpu cooling, full-length graphics card (cards?) capability, and full sized ATX. So no compromises made other than mATX board.

If you want to make more compromises, then you can maybe even go down to ITX. Cases vary there too, the popular Bitfenix Prodigy, with the handles, feel about as big as the Temijin lol. But you can go as small as a Lian-Li PC-Q11 or Silverstone SG-05B while still having potential for some solid performance.

can you compare the 350d size to the temijin? How much bigger is it? I really like the side window but the temijin doesnt have it :/
 
I dunno, I'd just plug away the dimensions in some size comparison site or something. Just by looking at it, Temijin would feel half as small lol. The Temijin is as small as the components could physically fit, as far as what it can do. The 350D looks pretty full featured, and full-size case. So the comparison is pretty stark.
 
I own both of as I was interested in downsize a little bit myself. Did you want me to post pictures / impressions?
 
Just for a numbers comparison... The TJ08 comes in at 30 Liters. The 350D comes in at a whopping 41.5 Liters. The SG09 is 23 Liters. To wrap it up.. The 350D is a Mid Tower ATX case that can only fit a µATX board.

The 350D is definitely smaller than a mid-tower. It's not even close to being a being able to fit a regular ATX board. It would need at least 3-4 inches.

Maybe you didn't understand... It's a mid-tower ATX case geared at a µATX motherboard. Obviously it won't fit an ATX board if it's a µATX case lol. What do I mean by that? Again, let's look at the numbers of some Mid-Towers and some µATX Towers:

µATX Cases:

Corsair 350D = 41.5 L

Silverstone SG09 = 23.0 L

Silverstone TJ08-E = 30.0 L

NZXT Vulcan = 30.0 L

Antec VSK-3000 = 25.0 L

Silverstone PS08 = 24.0 L

Apex TX-381 = 30.0 L


ATX Mid-Tower Cases:

Antec 300 = 43.5 L

Rosewill Challenger = 38.5 L

Lian-Li PC-A05 = 40.5 L

NZXT Source 210 = 42.5 L

Corsair 200R = 45.0 L

Cooler Master Elite 430 = 39.5 L


Hmmm, I hope you get the point. The 350D (a µATX case) is LARGER than some ATX Mid -Tower cases! I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that... But is you are looking SFF, 350D is NOT the way to go.
