• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I’m positive that most people, Skype users in particular, will find this article extremely interesting. If you’ve ever wondered how Skype can connect two PC users across the country, both behind firewalls, this article explains it.

Peer-to-peer software applications are a network administrator's nightmare. In order to be able to exchange packets with their counterpart as directly as possible they use subtle tricks to punch holes in firewalls, which shouldn't actually be letting in packets from the outside world.

I already knew this and this is precisely why our workplace specifically forbid installing software of this type. It's a real security nightmare if we allow them on the company network/computers.
