i just got my samsung173T in the mail today and hooked it up in place of my old 19' song trinitron. What I would like to know is what I might want to do to get the best picture possible out of this thing. It looks very nice alrdy but im sure it can get better. TIA

on another note, is there anythingi should change for the brightness? everyone talks about lcds being so bright but i have this thing turned up all the way and it still isnt bright as my old crt, which hadnt been turned up all the way. it was only at 75 or 80 at the most
 
Have you tried adjusting brightness contrast and gamma in your video card drivers.
