How safe is Western Union?

Hey guys I'm pretty inexperienced with receiving payment for overseas sales and was wondering if anyone could explain how safe I am if I receive a $450 upfront payment for an item before I ship.

Pretty safe to receive. Zero protection when sending.

It's basically a cash transfer service.

its safe to send money to loved ones. Other than that I don't see a reason to use the service.

IMO USPS MO send it there also. cheap too. never any problems. the fastest way to receive money is PP obviously. if you hate the fee's amazon or GC never hurtsto try....
