If I remember correctly this is where there used to be (before the forums shut down for cleaning) a couple threads for things like wallpaper pics and such so here we go.....how organized IS your desktop? :)

This thread can be used to show off a ridiculous amount of time gone into cleaning thing up.....or the exact opposite, whichever you feel best describes your "arrangements" on your comp. ;)

I'll start us off.....

Empty. I use taskbar folders to keep all the stuff I want easy access to easy to get to and leave my desktop empty.

It's just funny after talking to some buddies of mine how few ppl actually KNOW about doing the taskbar shortcuts like you and I have setup. :p

May I ask how you g4et the Apps and Games section down by the taskbar? Probably easy but I want it!...Thanks for your time...

Talk about serenity...
cornelious0_0, your desktop is so relaxing to me.

Here's what I did to make the game toolbar (same process for Apps toolbar)...step by step, for those of you not familiar with the process

1 - create shortcuts for all your games on your desktop
2 - create a folder in My Documents (or anywhere for that matter) to put the shortcuts in
3 - right click on your toolbar --- toolbars --- new toolbar
4 - select the folder where your shortcuts are and you're done......simple simple. ;)

Gee thx.....it does help unwind after a long day at work believe it or not.....I get so frustrated being on my friends comps. ;)

Well, even on my 2001FP, 1600x1200 is quite a bit of desktop real estate. You're probably not going to notice the occasional icon here and there. Nonetheless, I try to keep the number of icons on my desktop down.

Some of my work machines, on the other hand...

Heh, got any pics? ;)

I can grab a desktop pic of my home PC when I get there. As for the work stuff, it's NDA'd.
