For the gamers how old are you, and when did you start gaming?

Me i started when i was about 6 years old. And i'm 13 now lol.

Ps,Yes 13 but i'm no casual gamer.
 
I started when I was 9 (at least here in America) and I'm 19 now. I've noticed that I'm less excited about games at this age; I don't know if it's just me or if it's the overall quality of the products being released out into the market these days. I'll always be playing games though, regardless of how shiftless the industry gets.
 
I'm 18 and i started gaming at 4. Duck Hunt all the way baby! On an unrelated note, i hate any dogs that look like they're laughing at me. And altec, watch the double negatives youngster. Not no is not proper grammar.

Edit: I felt old when I was at the doctor's office, where they have a Sega Genesis. A 10ish kid comes up and asks what system that was, and i had to explain to him that what a Genisis was. I feel old. :(
 
I'm 16 (almost 17) and started rocking Starcraft a little bit after it came out(I was what, ~11? ), I had played Doom 1&2 a little bit, but I got serious into it for Starcraft.

Started at hte age of 17 when i got to Univ. and now am 21

the first console that i played was a PS2 and have never played a console again

Well I would have to say that you replaced a mistake for another mistake. "Grammer" has no "e" in it :)

Im 28 and I started gaming with a Magnavox Odyssey. Ive been into pc gaming for almost 10 years now. Currently playing Pariah.

 
I'm 20 and I started playing games when my uncle got me an SNES with Mario Kart for Christmas. Think it was either '93 or '94.
 
Started at about 4 or 5, playing NES and such, possibly some Atari (Cant reemember well) THen I got an N64

16 now, so ya

I dunno, its extremely annoying, I suppose it stems from being on MSN or AIM, and there would always be AT LEAST ONE person with a name like thi:\

Currently 21 - It began with the NES, it STILL WORKS since 85!!!!!
Not much of a console gamer since Playstation 1. Now I play MMORPG's mostly....
Currently "The Matrix Online"
 
Started when I was 7 I think (SNES), at least that is when I started to really get into them. 21 now and I have definately taken less of my time playing games but I still enjoy playing them whenever I get a chance.

Castlevania...hardest game ever. I managed to get to the last level then it got bitchy beyond belief. Great soundtrack too.

what does this have to do with games and gaming equipment and why do you care how old i am?
 
19 and have been playing Since commodore days... oh Dizzy that little egg... lol
onto to the 3DO, janguar..Nes, Megadrive (genesis), PC, PS1, dreamcast etc etc etc :D
 
I am 33. I started gaming at the age of 6 with Pong and moved on to the Atari 2600 (VCS at the time actually) shortly thereafter. So it's been 27 years now for me.
 
39. Started gaming around 14 or so. Back when you had to write your own damn game if you wanted to play. :p Well, for my family at least. My parents didn't have the money to buy an atari, and that's all that was available back then.
 
I'm 25 and I don't remember when I started, to long ago but it was with the atari 2600 :)
 
I'm 30 years old and I started gaming at a age of 7 years with Coleco :) But my greatest era is the NES/SNES era.
 
20, and it all started when I was 3, been gaming snice then. From atari 2600, a pong machine, today.
