In a few days, I will be upgrading to a P4 2.8/533 with this Soyo motherboard and 512mb of Dell pc3200 ram.

that soyo motherboard will hold you back, dont expect anything over a 10 percent overclock

Really, it supports a 800bus. Do you know of any good motherboards under $30. New Egg has the Soyo and a bunch of other refurbs for that price.

A little more than you wanted to spend but this board is supposed to hit around 230 with the right ram. Which is a hefty overclock for a 533 quad-pumped processor.

I really doubt my dad would overclock much, but I would want to get maybe 15% overclock with it. Would the Dell pc3200 ram and this motherboard be able to achieve that:
