I used a web page that calculated the wattage your power supply need and it says that every 128mb of memory uses 2v of the 5v rail. That means that 1GB of memory is using 16v of the 5v rail!!! yet when I check with Crucial their specs say that each 512mb stick of memory uses 2.6v, who is right?

Thats not how it works dude. 2.6v is the amount of voltage being supplied to the RAM. What you want to look at is how much wattage your RAM will require. 1GB of RAM will require an optimum amount of around 64w, thats it.
