How big a power supply should I get to run a 2.8Ghz P4 on a Abit IC7 board w/ an ATI 9800SE and two HD? Any suggestions on manufactures?

350w of quality power would be more then enough. I would pick up an Antec 430w or Fortron 400w though.

I would suggest learning how to look at the amps on each rail that the power supply can provide and then look over a wattage requirment list that you can find pretty easily on the net.

You dont need to use the maximum values though, just something between the minimum and maximum values required. 350w will run almost any system even the real big ones. Just remember that hard drives can take twice the amount of wattage they normally pull when they first spin up so if you have quite a few its best to have a power supply with lots of power on the 12v line.
