Hey guys/gals!

Looking for a new power supply, on the fence on what I need.

Setup will be:
i7-980X
48GB DDR3 (6 sticks)
Asus Sabertooth x58
1 120GB SSD
4 2TB 7200RPM HDDs
1 blu-ray burner
HD7950
HD6770
Possibly up to 10 120-140mm fans
Possible self contained water cooling

I may OC...not sure yet. Maybe CPU, maybe GFX, maybe both.

What do you suggest? I'm thinking at least 800W, maybe 1000W? I don't want to buy a lot more than I need...

A high quality 850W power supply will be plenty for you. You don't need a 1000W PSU.

Yeah, I'd say a solid 800-850w would do you. Seasonic X-850 or Platinum 860, Antec HCG or HCP 850 or 900, Kingwin LZP-850, Corsair HX or AX 850 all come to mind.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you can CF a 6770 with a 7950.
