How Much Do Z-640s Suck?

I got some z640s for 50 bucks 6 months ago, & I've never heard the 'super good' $300 z680s or higher. So my question is, how much do my z640s suck, as they sound good to me & I mostly play games, so I need to get new memory + vid card + psu, so should I upgrade my speakers at all? I dont use acid or whatever to make my own music, & the surround seems to work good to hear shots behind me.
 
The 680's are considerably better in terms of raw power and quality. I did have the 640's myself.

If you are still happy with them, there is no need to upgrade... :)
 
I have the 640's and the 2 speaker version of the 680's. Peronally, I think the 640's are fine for games, but for music the others blow them away. It's kind of a get what you pay for deal.
 
Thx, I guess you do get what you pay for (z680s), but my z640s w/ Fortissimo IIII 7.1 sound plenty good to me, even in surround once I got the rear speakers going :p
 
I also just bought the 640's and I think they are awesome for the price. I do not think you should "upgrade" either..
