How much do you think the 2405 will cost come Christmas time?

I'm thinking of just getting the 2005 for now and buying the 2405 near Christmas time (and near the launch of the new xbox). I can afford the 2405 now,but it'll pretty much break the bank and the 2005 will only cost me 200.00 after I sell my old monitor.

What do you guys think the prices for the 2405 will look like come Christmas? My CRT is really taking up alot of space so I need an LCD now.

For those that have/had both the 2005 and the 2405 is the difference THAT big?

Newer technology will definately be out by then. LED displays should be out and NED won't be far away. I just bought a 2005fpw for around $400 because I couldn't live with my dying CRT. I'll probably upgrade from that around the end of the year and give my fiance the 2005fpw.
 
I should think dell wont be going any higher in size that is instead concerntrating on the new technologys and bringing them to that market dirt cheap like usual :D. Neywas the 2405 will last you a long time as its HD aswell so next gen consoles etc will work great on it 720/1080 etc.

Will the 2405 suppose 1080i as it has the resolution for it??

There will probably be a v.2.0 of the panel by then... for no more than $1000 I'd say...
 
I guess it wouldnt hurt to try out the 2405 for a week or two and see if its worth that much cash. If not I'll just send it back and get the cheaper 2005.
