How many quick disconnects considering pressure drop?

I've been reading about the significant quick disconnect pressure drop. The Koolance QD3 series causes about 0.7 psi pressure drop from a single set at 4L/min, and I imagine that scales for multiple sets. The D5 pump can handle about 5 psi pressure at 1 gallon/min from what I've read. I was planning on getting three quick disconnects, one before the cpu, one between cpu and gpu block, and one after the gpu. Now I'm thinking that I should only get two to minimize restriction.

My setup has dual D5 pumps in series which should double the psi my system can handle. My restriction in the system will come from 3 radiators, the cpu block, 2 or 3 quick disconnects, and a EK quad semi-parallel block.

I wouldn't be overly concerned about it. I'm using 6 sets of Koolance QD3's myself. I'm also using 3 Aquacomputer AMS radiators which are known to be quite restrictive. For blocks, I have cpu, gpu, vrm, and pch blocks. For my pumps, I'm using 2 DDC pumps (mcp35x2) with PWM set to 55%. I had the same idea to go with dual pumps, which I'm glad with this choice as both are quiet and only running about ~2300 rpm. You won't have a problem with dual D5s. I would go for the extra set :) My old setup had 4 sets of the older style Koolance VL3Ns which I ran fine with a single D5. You should be good to go.
