I have 25 360 games. Wondering if others have a lot of games or if they only have 1 or 2? Wondering what the average number of games is. Here is what I have:

So far, 12 titles.
 
I used to have over 300 games for 8 consoles, then realized that it wasn't doing me any good but taking up space in my house.
Now, I have about 5-7, that is constantly rotating every two months. No need to hold onto old games anymore.

Now, I believe, it's:
Burnout: Paradise
Oblivion
Lost Odyssey
Orange Box
GTA4 (holding onto it for the DLC)

And for the kid (and me):
Kung Fu Panda
Simpsons
Bee Movie Game

Oblivion and Orange box are about to go up for sale, maybe Lost Odyssey if I give up on the finding the 99th seed. Then on to buy more :)

A) I'm older, and have more money
B) I went about two years without a gaming PC

I trade my games in as soon as I beat them or get sick of the MP on them. I have owned my 360 since March 06, my wii since December 06 and PS3 for 2 weeks...

360 = 30+ total but now only 10
wii = 10 total, but 3 now and I just sold my wii last week
ps3 = WipeoutHD and hopefully GT5 prologue for christmas

This is not counting downloadable games on the 360 and wii

I never sell games. I enjoy having a collection that expands, strongly against the idea of selling.

Now, I have about 10 wii games, 43 xbox360 games, 14 xbox games, 15 NDS games, and more than 300 pc games. Since I write reviews for the local press as a part time job, I had many of them for free, but still...

Last but not least, I have 5 PSOne games. They were the only ones I bought back when I played on my PSX (oh the memories). They live in a very nice spot right under my telly, in a special glass made case.

Why so special? Because those 5 games were the strongest line up of games for me. So strong in fact, I needed nothing else back then.

Castlevania - SOTN, Tekken 2, Porsce Challenge, ISS Pro, Street Fighter Alpha 2. The 5 of them combined represent so well the fact that many many times, less is more.

I don't think anyone rushes out and buys a lot of games at once. It's more of a one to three a month thing. One game per paycheck is pretty reasonable.
 
20 retail games for the PS3, not sure how many I've bought and downloaded off the PSN store.
 
I'm only buying "PS3 Exclusive" games.

I purchase one game every week to every two week. I get them on sale, used, greatest hit.
PC games are cheaper than console. Around my b-day (oct) and x-mas, I get about 5-7 games as gifts. My Fiancee give also purchase game on almost every month.
 
wii: diego's adventure, wiisports, animal crossing, wiiplay
ps3: little big planet
360: gears of war 2 (plus lots of xbla games that I'm not counting)

I tend to play only 1-2 games at a time, and sell off my old games when I get the new ones. The console I play the least is the one I have the most games for...fail.

I always pay under $20 per game. :p The CC clearances were awesome. I got many decent XBox 1 games for $5 each. The most i've paid for a 360 game so far is $13 for Dead Rising.
 
I never get rid of my games. I sold some back once and I found myself wanting to to play them not to long after that so I decided never to sell them back anymore.

That's the main list of games that I still keep out and ready to be played from current and previous generation. I also have a Sega Genesis (~10), PlayStation (~30), Virtual Boy (3), Game Boy [original one] (~15), Tiger Game.com (~5), Tiger R-Zone (~5).

Sold my original NES with the 20+ games I had for next to nothing a long time ago -- what a mistake. Fortunately the internet makes those games easy to find and play, even though I would like to have the original machine :(.
