How many computers have you built?

[WesM63]

Hundreds, under 500prob thou.

[ST|FFY]

i've only got about 4 done

[DiscoStu]

Ouch that's cold. And that is coming from a former mac tech.

It really stems from the fact I hate supporting the computers after I build them. I'm not a fan of having to un install 15 websearch bars everytime I visit a friend or family. I already do that all day at work. no fun!

[primea]

Just for personal use ... around 12 ... including other people ... maybe 100+ ... built my first one in '96 ...

I make Michael Dell look like a computer hobbyist

haha! Just kidding
I've built over 100 for myself, family, and work over the years. First one I *personally* ever built for myself was a 1Ghz Athlon system. I remember how everyone 'oooo-ed' and 'aaahhhh-ed' at how fast that was.

[elm669]

"Fast" machines 10+, econoboxs, don't remember, so many they all fade together

0. I once opened my case and popped in a stick of 128 RAM. It took about twenty minutes to figure out how to make it fit. Well It turns out my motherboard doesnt support it and it is still inside the case because I'm too lazy to open it.
