How Many Cases Do You Own?

Lots of upgrades over the years, a case usually lasts me about 2 builds, but sometimes I just get new ones for the heck of it.

I probably have 8-10 of them laying around in the basement, ranging from coolermaster and lian-li to cheapo generic cases.

Are you using all of them or pretty much just keeping them around??
 
Just one anymore, my main desktop (P180). Well, a defunct Shuttle S939. Everything else is on laptops.
 
Wierd, I was just discussing this with some of my co-workers.. I'm in the crazy-hording 8+ catagory. I generally hold on to a case unless I need quick cash for other parts/cases or I have more than one :D

Excluding the all but one of my OEM cases, I think the current total is around 10.

1. Rocket-Li - Primary box
2. Antec Fusion Black - HTPC
3. IBM xSeries 205 3U Server - WHS (included because it has a standard ATX interior layout and is really a glorified desktop)
4. Antec HX08 - Has original 300W PSU which still works like a champ - Athlon 550 & Voodoo 5500. Used for Win98/2k gaming.
5-6. Antec HX05* - Looks like a squished HX08. Not sure about the model number. Have two of those.
7. 2U Generic Server case. - Also empty and now useless. I should get rid of that one.
8. Strange little generic flexATX SFF I got back in 2002. Was previously used as a router for a Hughes Satellite modem. Also an excellent little workstation. Will be getting a Little Valley or Atom based board here shortly.
9. Random thin-steel generic mid-tower that everyone and their grandmother had in 2002. Side USB ports- WOW!..
10. Some other random case. Not sure about that one. It's in the back of the attic under a pile of boxes. This thread just reminded me that it is still there.. lol

i keep changing cases every few months i get bored of them quite easily i think im just a weirdo.

i do love my v1000b its the best case ive ever owned but im liking the danger den tower 26 right now:eek::eek:
 
i must admit, i was quite surprised at first when i saw the number of people who responded 8+. i rent, so i don't have the luxury of space.

however, i think it would have been more interesting to know how spare / unused cases people have lying around.

I had three other cases, but cleared them out since they were dinged up and warn out
 
I only have three. Two of which are in use and the third is an old pc which has been gutted of drives and serves as a machine only to upgrade and copy Tivo drives which I do for my friends and family.

I only buy new cases when I am building a new PC.

hmm i need to clean up some of this junk all of it is viable and only 2 are not running or run capable.

Two of my cases can be pulled from my sig: the Lian Li PC-A05B and the stock case from the Dell E310. I also have a Lian Li PC-C37B on the way for my HTPC I'll be building.

So, currently 2, but soon to be 3.

Same as this guy but replace the p180 with my Lian-Li V1100B Plus II.

I'm hankering for an A05N when those come around though, but I also want a TJ10 or A7110B... lol, totally opposite ends of the spectrum, the A7110B is probably the best choice for me component wise, but I'm infatuated with the TJ10's for some reason and want the A05N for another project, maybe the A03 instead for MATX purposes...
