I was just thinking about how many cases I own as I went to get another one today. I have 7 cases laying around of which 2 are in use. I seem to collect cases for some reason. So, how many do you own?

1. TT Xaser III
2. Wave Master (Server)
3. P180
4. CM Elite 340
5. QPack
6. Sonata III (Main)
7. Chieftec Midtower Server Case

Jesus

In use

Lian Li A10
Lian Li A05

laying around,

Lian Li PC-60
Cheiftech Dragon

I have my cm690, which i currently use, an nzxt apollo, which i lent to a friend, a generic microcenter case for an athlon xp rig and a stripped down cut down powmax case that i use as a test platform.

I have several in use, but I have one of the giant Antec server style cases with side window left over from the nforce 2 days. I've thought of using it but now I think the window and led fans look tacky and friends and family would not enjoy its massive size and weight for handmedown computers.

I've got a couple old HP Pavilion cases, an Antec NSK1380 from an aborted project I started, a banged-up Tt Armor, and my Cosmos S.

Well over 8, too many random PC upgrade leftovers.
You cant give them away.

LOL, too many.

Hmmm...
5 $20 Dynex cases (3 in use): 3 with 350W PSUs and 2 with 500W PSUs
2 Antec NSK-4480 cases: 1 black/silver, 1 black/black
2 CMmedia 282 cases
2 AOpen B200 picoBTX cases
2 CM Centurion 5 cases
1 CM Elite 340 microATX
1 Chenbro microBTX case
3 old misc cheap-o cases
3 prebuilts (Dells and a GQ)

Most have motherboards, memory, video cards, CPUs and optical drives, but several are missing hard drives. I'm getting rid of 7, 7 are in some kind of usage and the rest are just spares for when I rebuild systems for myself or my family. Even the used cases are in very nice condition.

5 currently but not in use, 3 in use.
3 of the ones not in use are getting trash in a few weeks when I move.

Prized case: Chieftec FULL tower... aka "The monolith". As it stand 3 feet tall and looks like just a huge mirror finish black slab with the door closed from the front. I've had it (while not my main case for some time) for almost 5 years now.

3 in use, 1 awaiting massive cleaning, and one custom case-mod creation in extremely slow progress.

Old Elan Vital beige case from 1998.
Ancient Baby AT case from the mid 1990s.
Supermicro 1U with four hot swap trays.

I've got a Lian Li PC-V2010 on the way and I'm thinking about a PC-A20 for my workstation.

Counting all my old comps that I still have in my basement, a lot :p

I have more than 80 pairs of socks but only four cases, and I think four pairs of shoes.

I only have like 6 pairs of socks, my dog stole all my others. :S

I have an Antec P180. Everything prior, was a generic case. A stick of RAM failed on me, due to years of dust buildup. It was a hastle to troubleshoot, so I got the P180 ( with built-in dust filters ).

I've read reviews on the net about the Antec P190:

http://www.xsreviews.co.uk/reviews/cases/antec-p190/4/

What are your views on the P190?

I've commented on the P190 a number of times.

Here are the highlights:

My own build up in the P190.

A couple of comments I made in response to people's questions on the case.

More.

6... Not generally a buyer of high-quality cases, because I have a very limited budget, and find that the $ are better used buying components.

2x cheapest cases available from newegg at the time.

It sounds like you had a bad "day at the dentist". It's a shame that your review doesn't come to the top, on Google.

I'm thinking of getting a full tower ( for the extra room ), aluminum ( for the low weight ) for my next case. Maybe a Xaser VI:

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Thermaltake/XaserVI

Why do you prefer a steel case? Aluminum would be easier to drill through?

Antec P180B (main rig)
Antec P182B (new in box, really good price)
Antec Sonata (kids computer)
Antec Sonata II (x2)
Antec 900 (x2, who knew the wife would want a case with a window  )
Antec NSK1300 (media center)
Coolermaster Elite 330 (folding computer)
Thermaltake Lanbox Lite (we'll see if we can fit a 9800gtx in that!!)
No Name Beige Full Tower that I've owned for 16 years and can't part with:(

Damn!! If it were possible to have too many cases, I think I'd have to say I've got too many cases.

Actually I prefer steel cases. I like the lower cost and sturdier construction. I've seen some aluminum cases from Silverstone and Lian-Li that I like, but I hate the fact that aluminum scratches so easily. You are right, it is easier to drill though.

Antec almost had perfection with the P190 but the flaws it has are pretty large in my opinion. Still I haven't found anything that's a whole lot better outside of possibly something from Lian-Li.

I have a:

Coolermaster WaveMaster (It's ok.....:()

A generic case from newegg (no clue about manufacturer)

Yet another generic case.

I have 2 Lian Li Rocketfish cases, a Thermaltake Kandalf, and a Lian Li PC-V350B. Only one RF and one V350 is being used. The Kandalf was from my previous build and the other RF is a backup.
