The 1/2" size is recommended right?
What I'm curious about is what will the noise be like from this setup compared to performance? I'm mainly interested in noise reduction at the outset, though I'd like to still have decent performance parts for OC'ing down the road.

Also, how noisy are the 6800GT's? Is it worthwhile from a noise perspective to add a block to those also?
Lastly, I've heard bad things about the bay resevoirs...what is the issue people are having with them? What is a better option for a resevoir?

Thanks guys :)

looks good so far.
how ever I dunno if that core jr will out perform a procore since it is smaller if I remember right.
If you wanna go with a procore Ive got one for cheap :)

that is the small one
Dimensions(with tanks) are 5.5"W x 6.38"H X 2"Thick

The Pro core ive got
Dimensions(with tanks): 6"x 7" X 2"

and the best of the bunch is the dual 120 cores like 2fresh sells

Dual 120 is still an option, but I keep going back and forth between which case I want. Some of them just seem too small for a dual core. In the end I think I may just go with the Lian Li PC-75b, in which case throwing a dual in the top is no problem.

Oh here's a related question....I see so many people with green tubes which I understand to be coloured water due to the anti-corrosion/fungae additive.....does that stuff come in other colours? Or would I just need coloured opaque tubes?

Ive got a PC-75b and the dual 120 kicks major ass the room the case gives alone is worth the cost LOL

yeah, it's just dye. as for the tubing make sure you get 1/2" tygon. it's a little more expensive than other stuff but definitely worth it.

thats pretty much the exact same setup i have and i love it, it keeps my cpu nice and cool. good choices!

Sounds good! I say noise level depends on what volt u want to run the fan @. 12v on say 100CFM would be loud, 8 volt on it would be acceptable, anything below 7v is considered quiet. Temp diff on that setup depending on fan speed should be about 2-3c between 12v to 7v.
As for 6800gt... I have no idea till I get mine. But I would first set the lines up and if its too noisy work on it later. Not like you can't add another block easy with such a nice pump :p
