I am looking to upgrade my mini pc, the case is an Antec Aria and im basically using it as a mobile box/media pc. It currently is a old 800Mhz Duron but i seen this on Tiger Direct the other day: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1778746&Sku=MCM-GVHZL-345

Note this isnt a gaming pc, i have one of those already, this is just a everyday use pc that i take to work and when i travel home and watch movies on with the Radeons TV out.

Do you think i could do better or just go ahead and upgrade. I will be using a PCI Radeon 9200 i already have paied with the Duron. I also have 1GB of Corsair DDR400 and a spare 120 gb hard drive.
 
I think you'll find the Celeron D to be plenty fast. Celeron D's are based on the Prescott core, not the old Northwood core. They are MUCH faster than the older Celerons. Hell even if it was a Northwood Celeron, it would still be faster than an 800mhz Duron, no offense.

I just emailed the link to my brother because I know he's looking to build a cheap DVR. It costs $120USD...You Canadian's get a way better deal then us.
 
haha no offence taken, i know this 800Mhz sucks, but its done it job well for as much as i use it, my Gaming PC suites me much better. I think ill order it, LGA775 has a longer upgrade path but for 100 bucks CDN? Who cares haha
